Impact & Transparency

Registered, certified and accountable

We report our work with care—using verified programme records, clearly explained indicators and factual activity information. Our aim is to show what NANF has done, how participation is counted and where our work continues.

Our Work Since 2016

Cumulative programme record since 2016

NANF's impact is reflected through recurring programmes, sustained student support, volunteer participation and practical community action. The figures below are presented with their scope and counting method so they can be understood correctly.

How We Measure and Report

NANF records participation through available programme documents, registration records, distribution records, activity reports, photographs and volunteer confirmations. Programme indicators are reported according to the nature of each activity and the records available.

  • Programme Interactions

Participation is counted for each programme or occasion. A person participating more than once may therefore appear in more than one programme count.

  • Direct Outputs

Items distributed, students supported and activities conducted are reported separately wherever supporting records are available.

  • Responsible Updates

Figures and descriptions may be updated when records are reconciled or additional verified information becomes available.

Impact Through Continuing Action

NANF's work combines annual community initiatives with long-term educational support. Each programme contributes differently, and its outcomes should be understood in the context of its purpose and available records.

  • Education & Mentorship

Long-term guidance and financial assistance support meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds from Class XI through higher education, subject to individual need and progress.

  • Youth Development

Padadhwani brings school and university students from across Assam together through academic, cultural and sporting competitions, career counselling and shared learning.

  • Health & Community Care

Annual blood-donation activities in Jorhat, Tinsukia and Guwahati encourage voluntary participation and responsible donor mobilisation.

  • Disaster Response & Relief

Annual relief activities provide food, essential commodities and educational materials to communities and students affected by floods and other disasters.

  • Sports

Football through the Nava Asom Nirman Trophy and basketball through Padadhwani encourage participation, discipline and teamwork.

  • Environment

Annual World Environment Day plantation activities bring volunteers and participating institutions together in practical environmental action.

Working Through Collaboration

NANF works independently and, for selected activities, collaborates with institutions, companies, public bodies and community organisations that share the programme's objective. The nature and duration of each collaboration may differ.

In Their Own Words

Accounts shared by students supported through NANF's mentorship and scholarship programme.

  • Joining Nava Asom Nirman Foundation's Mentorship and Scholarship Programme in 2018 during my higher secondary studies was a turning point in my life. It provided far more than financial support—offering constant mentorship, career guidance, and interview preparation. Their unwavering belief in my potential helped me complete my B.Tech, secure my first role at Haldia Petrochemicals, and ultimately clear the recruitment process for Numaligarh Refinery Limited. Having the right guidance at crucial moments made all the difference. I am deeply grateful to NANF for turning my aspirations into reality and empowering students like me to achieve their dreams.

  • I am really indebted to Nava Asom Nirman Foundation for providing free mentorship to the needy aspirants of Assam. I had a great experience while receiving mentorship from Nava Asom Nirman Foundation during my preparation for the APSC CCE. Finally, I have been able to successfully clear the exam and secure Rank 4 in the Assam Finance Service.

Our Commitment to Responsible Reporting

NANF is committed to presenting its work accurately and responsibly. We distinguish between programme participation, materials distributed, students supported and completed outcomes. We avoid presenting cumulative interactions as a count of unique individuals and revise information when verified records require correction.
